Elite / Frontier BBC B Cassette Ship ID poster

Just been reminiscing and dug out my original BBC copy of Elite. I have everything in the box but the ship ID poster.

Does anyone have a spare one I could buy or maybe even swap for the Hybrid Arc version which somehow I do seem to still have!

That's way way way too small to print clearly

Thanks for the idea.

But I really would like an original one of possible. Plus thats the C64 version, ideally I would want an original BBC Cassette version.

Depends how much you want to pay - there is something on eBay right now (although no pictures - to be added later apparently) for £80!!!

Ha yeah I spotted that! No chance. I've seen complete sets in reasonable condition go for around 15-20. The poster on its own in good condition I'd go for a few pounds.

He seems to have a whole list of stuff at stupid prices. if only he did a quick search on ebay before he'd see exactly what sort of prices old games go for...

I'd stick with the image Paul gave you on stardot unless you can find someone willing to part with an original.

Printing is pretty cheap as well, you could get it professionally printed in A1 size for about £13.

Yeah I'm hoping someone will part with one really. Maybe someone has one but not the rest of the set? That sort of thing. I probably will print my own but its no substitution for an original to go with the rest of the original stuff.

I'm still on the look out for an original ship ID poster that would have come with the BBC Cassette version. If anyone has a spare in their collection maybe we could cut a deal?!

Thanks Robert. Its the BBC version I'm after really. And original if possible. I would like to complete the box I have at home. I have all the other bits... manual... novella et etc. But not the poster

Looks like nobody has a spare one of these hanging around so does anyone have Elite for sale please?

I have everything but the poster so if your set isn't complete but has the poster I'd be very interested!

I do have a spare ship poster ‘BBC Acornsoft version’ that you may have! I collect old Elite versions and have various odds and ends.

A full set for the first time since sometime in the 1980s. Very happy today. This will sit right next to the ED box when it arrives...
