With how C&P is tied to notoriety level it would be nice to be able to see the level it is at along with percent how much till it goes down or a timer letting us know when the pain of it will end.

Exactly .. been looking on internet 30 minutes on how to see my current notoriety level ..but you can't even see it ? ..
Right Panel, statistics, crime section, first entry.
You don't get how long is left on that level, but you can see what the level is.

^ What Ian said. It's visible in your right-side panel.
However, I do think if you are Wanted in the current jurisdiction it would be nice if your notoriety could maybe be displayed on the cockpit HUD right below the red "Wanted" text but in other contexts where you are not wanted it wouldn't display.

Yep, notoriety timer, visible on HUD or failing that, first page on right hand screen. It's a bit of a faff at the moment.
