Be admitted to the Elite Federation of pilots without the elite rank

Yes, it is provided for in Regulation : "It is also possible for pilots without the “Elite” rating to gain admission to the EFP, but access to the organisation is extremely difficult: one must show extraordinary promise as a pilot to be admitted."


Are you in favor or against it ? How do you interpret this (extraordinary promise) ? Do you think it is feasible to access Elite federation of pilots in this way ? Do you find that it is more extrordinaire to achieve without the rank Elite? (In terms of prestige) ?

I think that it's a major premise of the game... there aren't enough ELITE pilots to go around, so they hire other pilots with lower rankings. From what I can tell Elite Dangerous is the title given to dangerous pilots in the EFP, and the most common rank for pilots in the EFP.
