A completely different system.

Still in the same place, and the same distance to Sol. But containing a whole new set of worlds. [down]

Honestly FD, please tell us this is just a "beta" thing and it'll be ok in full release.

Erimus one thing they didnt tell ya is the alien race they added have blown up the rest of the other planets ;)

I do agree though that is a Procedural generation problem right there the systems itself should have the same seed that it used to I bet someone has changed something in Stellar Forge that give the different result this is one of the flaws of procedural generation if you change something IN the generator the whole thing generates something completely different.

Woah , Beagle was a green system too! I really hope this is just a bug, someone needs to submit a bug report for this! :(

I hope the system data RNG isn't tied into the system name (i.e. the system name is effectively the random seed) - if that were so at least it would explain why it changed.

I bet its not even tagged by the original pioneers who discovered it either, come 2.1 release day.

Errr.... um..... excuse me. I just need to do something. Go somewhere. See a man about a dog. brb.

Frameshift drive charging...

Yep, that's probably exactly what happened, in which case it should be super easy to put it back the way it is supposed to be.

systems may have multiple names, they do have right now. the might need to do a quick revert or it will look odd..

My beta position is about 5k from Rendezvous Point but that would take a good 4 hours of flying to reach in my Viper. Anyone closer?

Did they reroll the system in Stellar Forge to create the new name?

This is completely bonkers. I'm sure it's just a mistake, I'm sure FD will change it back.

I've checked Rendezvous Point and its fine, except that it has no name tags.

I'm not sure why one would be ok, and the other completely regenerated - unless BP's "makeover" is to do with Jaques arrival ?

I thought about that as well.

If that's the case, no thanks FD, please leave Jaques at home and set the system to the way it was.
