Beam of light

Hello,

I post this suggestion to have a light beam into the game, because, to build a light show, we can't do a beam of light to iluminate pieces of the game ...

I thinks it will be a great idea.

An other idea, it's to have a light reflecting on water and smoke.

I'd love this too, but in the meantime I've figured that the animated lights put off a really nice beam, and they don't have to be activated, just set their color to black then do a color swap in the sequence editor.
 
Yes I agree but in a show like TomorrowLand, you can't use animated lights ... because you can't manage the direction of light ... I talk about light beam of projectors in the section "scenery" in the game.

not sure if this will work, but can you select the (do not animate) option for these lights? if you can, you can basically create a still beam of light.

Do you want the light to not move or do you want it to move in a specific way? Because animated lights will project a beam and not move, you just have to not activate them. And unlike other lights you don't need to activate them, because they're constantly on, you just have to set the beam color to black to turn them "off".

Hello,

I use the object "projector" in "scenery" so this item don't move. I just want to have a beam of light when is activate with a sequencor. I agree this projector have a little beam of light but into a big scene like TomorrowLand the light don't arrive to the ground .... So i suggest bigger beam of light :p
