Been playing a while but still I am not clear about something in the Ship's display.

What is that waveform graph that is on top of the fuel consumption and capacity gauge? I tried searching different combinations for an answer and the manual is silent on it.

I noticed that sitting at a dock it was almost to zero, while charging up my FSD it got progressively more intense, and in normal flight it was about half way..

What does it represent anyone know?
