Half inclined to send a "card-board-box" to frontier and say "ADD IT TO THE FRAPPING GAME SO I CAN ATTACH IT TO MY !!!

I don know where you are but cargo racks are in every outfitting place I've ever checked. One of the easiest components to find normally. As the other guy said, try high tech or even industrial systems.

Been to five or six high tech systems and still can't find them... currently on my way to ANLAVE, since it's got 4bill people, I'd assume they at least have to have ONE there.

I was originally in LHS 3447, but making the long trip to ANLAVE...I've seen cargo scanners, and everything else under the sun (literally) but no racks.

BTW... Out of complete "oh sh*t I'm going to get interdicted, fear" I'm constantly locking onto other ships that come near me with my computer, does that normally cause NPC ships to engage you? Seems to happen a lot.

Just to be sure, what size are you looking for and have you tried filtering your results by name? Its sometimes easier if you are looking for a particular component.

Interdictions happen quite a lot. More so in anarchy systems and if you are in a smaller ship or lower rating (mostly harmless, novice).

if u were at LHS 3447 then , that system and eravate , and Kremainn all have cargo racks from the small size 2 to size 128 , and NO locking doesnot provoke them to engage you.
There is definitly something you are doing wrong ...its impossible that ur not finding cargo racks , they are like fish in the ocean they are everywhere.

unless you are looking for the bigger ones (64T or 128T) their are abundant
