Before I click on "Buy" could you rift users check this spec ?

I am going to build myself a new system I have been looking at this setup , would love to hear some feedback if it should be ok for a system to run Elite in the rift ?

Intel i5-4690K 3.50Ghz (Devil's Canyon)
Z97 Chispset Board
8Gb Ram
SSD Drive
Geforce GTX 980 4096MB graphics card
Windows 7

If anybody would change something if it was them then I would love to know what

Cheers

At this point, most games do not use hypertreading so an I5 is fine. Even with DX12 coming down the pipe, initial benchmarks do not show inherent advantages to logical cores (I7 4/4) so an I5 can still be fine. On the other hand, DX12 will be a boon for multicore CPUs (4+).

Real close to mine only I have more RAM and an I-7 4790K. Those specs look fine though for where this is at right now.

*&% ya! enjoy the ride
OC that little cpu to 4.6 and fly

This.
.
I'm running an i5 2500k oc'd to 4.4 on an MSI 980 OC and I'm quite content. Just install SweetFX, turn shadows to medium (or lower), get the core unlocker program (forgot the name atm ...), slap 'er on and get ready for a really great ride!

I would personally go for a couple more cores in prep for Dx12 later this year. If you aren't in a hurry Id also wait a few weeks and see what price the 980 ti is going for :)
If you are anything like me though, you won't wait another minute! :p
