Horizons Beginner question about SRV

Not played a lot to ED and just got into Horizon so pardon this stupid question. I have the basic sidewinder and bought the planetary landing outfitting.
But I can't find a SRV bay in the equipment list! Is it available for this spacecraft? If yes, where?
Thanks

You first need to buy a Planetary Vehicle Hangar.

This is an internal component that requires a certain amount of space and it takes up a lot of weight, I am not sure a Sidewinder can cope with it to begin with but it could be possible.

The hangar can NOT be pruchased at every station, you need to find one that has it. I found one in Eravate Main Hub but I am not sure that is always the case.

After you buy the hangar you will need to buy the SRV from inside that hangar. After that you can land on a planet and deploy.

Hope it helps

Sideplayer ..... depends where you are. Not all stations have the hangar for sale, apparently. Suggest you move to a more hi tech station. If you are still at the starter station move away from there anyway ... for your own safety if in open !

Kort ...... yes you have to purchase it. You buy the hangar and then, in a submenu beneath it, you buy the SRV. Failing that, once you have an empty hangar, I believe you can purchase an SRV in the same menu where you re-equip with munitions (not in the game at moment and can't remember the title).

Also make sure you are shopping in a Class 2 slot with the Sidewinder, as Planetary Vehicle Hangars are only available as Class 2, 4, and 6 Internal Modules, and hold 1, 2, and 4 Vehicle Bays respectively.

Thank you. I was finally able to find the necessary equipment but I had switched to another spacecraft type in the meantime. I think I was at the same planet/station that I had tried previously but I'm not sure, so I can't conclude about the sidewinder...
