Being able to transport ships modules as cargo

I have asked before but it came to nothing.

I think all shipyards that well a certain size of ship should have corresponding outfitters that sell all the mods for it at least up to grade C. I bought a T7 but couldn't buy a better FSD for it at all and the stock one wouldn't even jump out of the system to the next nearest system. I had to strip it down almost to bare bones to get it out of the system to a station that had the FSD upgrades for it. Seriously, the stock jump ranges are crap on almost ANY ship.

Being able to use another ship to go get the FSD I needed would have allowed me to use my T6 to fetch it. Instead, I had to strip my brand new T7 down, run it without shields to get there and rebuild it again when I arrived.

As the title say, it would be useful to be able to buy modules with one ship, to transport it as cargo and to fit them on another ship.

Agreed.
I sure would love to be able to hunt around civilization for Vulture modules while flying my Asp..... surely a couple lasers and a Shield Booster can fit into that 64 ton cargo hold!
.
We should also be able to 'arrange for' ship transportation from one system to another.
I'd much rather spend my time running missions and role-playing my character as an Interstellar Coolguy rather than an Inter-system Valet.... there must be some young and resilient NPCs out there that have just graduated form flight school and who are looking for quick money, right?

I'm on the fence about this.

Modules aren't commodities. They might not be able to interact with canisters like commodities can. Or maybe they can, we don't know.

Keep in mind that not only are we buying a module at a station, but we're also buying the capacity to install it. Some places might not have the ability to install a 6A shield generator, which may also be why they don't sell it.
