Being disconnected trying to Rebuy my Ship, now I'm stuck in station.

So long story but, I died on a planet while on foot, I traveled back to that location to recover my ship, after getting myself in trouble again by walking away from a guard that said 'hey wait a moment' they start attacking me again. So I run out of the planet base/station or whatever it's called and go out onto the barren planet. I try to get far enough away where they stop shooting at me. Once I was a decent ways away I called my ship down, as it's coming to land, it's being attacked immediately and destroyed before even touching down. Great, so a friend of mine comes to lift me off the planet, meanwhile while I wait for him I'm running even further from the base. He gets to me picked me up and we start to take off from the planet while still being attacked, luckly his ship has more shields than my explorer did. However when we go into supercruise he continues on while I stay stuck at 000.000 supercruise initiating. So I get disconnected and I'm back on the planet so we try again. Same thing happens again. At this point I'm at 20% power in my suit, so I go to use a energy charge, except upon logging back in my entire inventory of items is gone. So I call in a Taxi, it allows me to finally get back to my home station, except I'm without a ship. So I go talk to the ship seller dude, and am given the option "My ship has been destroyed. I'm here to rebuy." but upon using this option it glitches and I'm immediately booted back to the main menu. So now I'm stuck in the station on foot, and can't go anywhere or do anything. Glad there was an alpha, and now we're in beta, but can we get to release please?

tldr: Keep trying to buy back my ship that blew up, and immediately getting disconnected, so now I'm stuck in station on foot.


Also to note, I'm getting error code: Scarlet Krait, however I made sure I was port forwarded, and tried changing my MTU and without any success.

Port forwarding won't help you. Scarlet Krait and Magenta Krait are transaction issues. In your context this means the client is attempting an action that is consiered illegal against the game logic. There seems to be an anomaly concerning your ship. Contact support.

Scarlet Krait / Magenta Krait​

These two names both refer to errors with your connection to the transaction server. To fix this on your lonesome, Frontier recommend adjusting your MTU, and again have a handy guide which can show you just how to do that, available here

I may have discovered a temporary solution to this issue. It's a little bit of a workaround. Again this is only a temp solution and doesn't fix the initial problem, but may allow people to play the game.


1) Exit the game completely
2)Start the Game from the launcher as "Horizons". Which will allow you to log in and actually be in a ship.
3)Fly said ship back to whatever station you want to go to, once docked exit out completely again.
4)Launch the game as Odyssey this time. Log into your game, you may get a redeployment summary.
5)Redeploy
6)Go make a profit

This has allowed me to get back into a ship and playing, but does not fix the initial issue.
