You aborted a mission. I had the same - he wouldn't go away. Even killing him was useless, he would just reappear next time I entered SC. Eventually disappeared after a week :O

What he said. About a week. It actually works to my favor because killing him repeatedly helps me undermine a system. It's like a get a free target following me around saying "Shoot me! Shoot me!"
