Ah well, another cash grind. Is it at independent from reputation ranks?

I'm disappointed with the Beluga. I was hoping for a passenger vessel that would rival the Cutter/Conda/Corvette trio.
It's one of the largest ships in the game, it should cost 150M+ and have a lot better internals.
As it is there's little to no jump from the Orca to the Beluga.
I now expect the Dolphin will come in for 45M, rather than a sensible 15-20M

What are you talking about, little change? Its hit box is at least 4 times bigger. ;-)

The Orca has 192t capacity, the Beluga over 330t. Not sure what your point is...
Agreed. 170M, two more C6s and one C7 for shields and that ship would be EPIC
Cargo (credit earnage) isn't everything...
The Courier takes much less cargo than a Cobra, but is like over 5 times the cost?
Stop looking at tonnage and look at the description. It's the premier luxury vessel, it doesn't live up to it's description.
It's hull mass is more than the optimal mass for it's shields for goodness sake, meaning it can't even fit proper shields for it's size!

The Cobra and Courier fully modified are very similar in price. Yes, the Courier has a higher base price but the Cobra has C4 internal slots. Both my A-rated Courier and A-rated Cobra are around 10M purchase price.
Adding back 10% will not give you the correct value; you need to add back 1/9th. So actual price should be ~82,419,445
Huh? Its the premier luxury vessel and it can ship the most passengers in the most luxurious conditions. Thats exactly what it should be. You want better shields? Maybe some extra weapons? Buy a corvette.
I'm not talking about better shields, I'm talking about functional shields.
Name another ship that is so far off it's Optimal Mass for shields?

The Beluga weighs a good 1800+T.
The 6A shield has an Optimal mass of 540T, max of 1350T.
It's just wrong.
If you ejected your passengers, isn't that like making them walk the plank? And wouldn't that make you a corsair/buccaneer/pirate type by proxy?
K-Rose, are you suggesting the FD has released another badly thought out ship? Surely not! 
It would be nice if they got someone from the aeronautical department of any Uni to help them with ship design. I was designing more viable craft at approx age 11 ( I wish that was a joke)
