So, I recently bought a T9, with the intention of using it to do a bit of mining but mostly just to crush haulage CGs.
And cos I'm fond of the way it looks.
Having just stumbled across a station selling the Beluga, though, I find myself wondering if it wouldn't be smarter to buy a Beluga (with it's ability to fit luxury cabins) and then use it to ferry passengers around and, when I get bored of that, refit it for mining or for cargo whenever an appropriate CG pops up, assuming that ALL the internal compartments can be configured as cargo racks as well as cabins, of course.
So, is there any reason not to use a Beluga as a general-purpose heavy haulage vessel, as well as a passenger ship?
Are upgrades stupidly expensive for it, does it get through a heap of fuel or is there some other reason why this would be a bad idea?
