Beluga Miner...opinions?

Hear me out...I equipped a Python for mining. It does okay but I find whether 64 or 128 cargo I end up throwing out about a third of my limpets bc the cargo bay gets full. I'm thinking maybe it's better to only fill up the cargo bay with 3/4 worth of limpets instead of completely full.

Anyway I learned a costly lesson about not using autodock when the station blew me up after giving message that I was blocking a pad just as I landed with a full bay of platinum et al...I was sad :(... Honestly, it was only like a minute from the warning to the blasting but it was bc I'm not used to landing without autodock and frankly I just prefer to be lazy with that as well as supercruise and I don't want to give them up.

So here we come to the crux of my problem. I'm either short a slot to fit everything I want or I can only use three collector limpets and that is a real pita when you're stuck waiting for them to retrieve ore before you can move on.

I looked at the t9, t10, anaconda but I'm just not sure I want to go that route bc they are are all big and slow and technically I think the Beluga might be marginally more maneuverable.

So I came up with a Beluga Miner build that checks all the boxes for me and I'd like to get two cents from any of you miners out there who've been there and done that. FYI, I don't have rank yet for the Cutter so that's not an option for me atm.

haven't mined in half a decade when i did it was deep core and subsurface mainly for void opals the mk1 python suited my needs way back when..............
i make my dosh thargoid hunting now (far quicker and more lucrative and plenty of action)
i kinda miss mining though it's kinda therapeutic like fishing i may revisit it in the future...........................
