Benches and Trash Cans

Did anyone else see the new trash cans and benches in the new IGN video about Isla Nublar starting at 0:28? It makes me wonder what else we'll see in the future and as in DlC's.

They are part of the wide paths, it's not new.

I wonder if they will actually function though or just scenery?

Hope they function.

Right now the pathing AI could use some work. They tend to bunch up too much and seem to follow a fairly strict on-rails route judging by the video, but AI is usually one of those things that always needs patching in post-releases.

Also, another thing I noticed is that we don't have a maintenance team or janitors in game.

I kind of like the idea that the benches and cans will appear automatically (if they do) cause I don't really like having to place every single can, it gets tedious. Plus I tend to over do it and start sticking cans and benches every where.

They confirmed a long time ago that they top tier of Paths will contain benches, cans and other things.

This. A lot of things about original JPOG are hopefully not translated over.

Talking about benches. Was it only me, or did JPOG have some serious problems with them? I placed a lot of them but no matter what, the tourists stayed only in the first half of the park, completely ignoring the further encolsures. The only hope for tourists to see that part of the park and the dinosaurs in it was with the hot-air balloon.

I never had that issue, maybe because I made about 5 entranrances one at each compass point and one right in the middle of the park.
