If you are even remotely interested in space travel (obviously if you are here I guess), you MUST experience the Apollo 11 experience in VR. I have never been so moved by something not real. I was literally moved to tears of pride in my CV1 as I listened to JFK motivating the nation toward the moon. I spontaneously smiled as if my best friend was sitting beside me during the launch and the astronaut to my right gave me a thumbs up upon reaching orbit. My words can't describe how moving the experience was and the sense of pride and awe it brought. I've been a DK2 user for a long time and have been blown away by many VR experiences but this is simply on another level. Please do yourself a favor and see for yourself.

Yep, I watched it on my dk2 excellent piece of work they did.

I never got to see the demo. I totally lost time in there but I would guess at least 30-40 minutes if not longer. I'll probably watch it 50 time over the years and use it to show my kids as they learn about that part of history. Amazing and exciting to think that our kids will learn using media like this going forward.

It's a seated experience, although the last part would work well as a standing experience.

I would highly recommend this. I was lucky enough to win a key from a member of the Oculus forums (he has a couple spare).
My 6 year old loves it. Works well on the DK2 and I'm looking forward to trying it on the Vive this weekend. Just been delivered!

I agree it's a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone. It even has Vive controller support when I tried it recently. The high contrast of deep black and light does however bring out the screen door effect on my Vive which I hadn't really noticed before in any of the other software I have for it.
