Best birthday present ever!

Frontier announced they will release the Beta with fantastic new features and content on the 29th of July, my birthday!
I am honoured and deeply touched by this move. ;)

Together with the X55 my wife wants to get me, this will just be the best present ever!

I haven't been this excited about an upcoming game since FE2 came out.
This makes me feel like a little boy.... :p Just had to get it out.
Thank you FD for making this dream reality! :D

Oh thank you very much but it wasn't my birthday yesterday. The 29th of July is. Sorry, my original post was misunderstandable.

it's really great, i got my x55 month ago and it fits ED perfectly - more than enough hats, buttons and switches.

it has some build issues as it's plastic and made by saitek but overall it's good investment and throttle just feels great, having loads of fun using that :)

Lol, me too, even got myself an X55 last week as my Birthday present to myself. They have 2 1/4 hours left before my birthday is completely ruined and I cry myself to sleep hugging an orbis space station birthday cake.

That makes 3 of us with birthdays today waiting. I don't have the x55 yet, I built a new pc for ED and decided I should upgrade the CPU cooler first, next paycheck I get the x55.

Happy Birthday!

Hope you got it downloaded and working. Awesome, I have a cheap ($45) HOTAS coming, in about a week. game works ok with game pad though - for now.
