Best Elite/Frontier/FE ships you want to see in E:D

Other than the ones that are already in of course.

I'm not going to hide my bias - I want the Imperial Courier... the proper one from the Frontier intro in there.

Also, would be nice to see a Falcon and a Merlin... the former is a super fast super light fighter, the latter a pretty fast, somewhat heavier, but still light, but gorgeous light fighter.

And the Griffin... if we're going to see the Puma Clipper, I think we should get the Griffin in there too. Like an angry fist of god.

Also feeling slightly buzzed off designing/modeling the Imperial Courier (see sig. link) - might do another one. Any requests? If not, might work on a Griffin redesign...

I wouldn't mind seeing your rendition of the Imperial Trader then ;) Incidentally that is one of the ship I'd love to see in E: D. The other one is the LRC, even if only for show.

I might sketch a version of the Elite Trader... but I couldn't just stick a third pylon on the courier and call it a day. The Trader is a far larger ship according to lore and stats. It's just lazy that they decided a third pylon was good enough :p

Well in FD we trust. They turned the other ships into quite sleek looking things, even if some still argue about them just being blocks of cheese. Maybe there's hope for the Imperial spacecraft to be a thing of beauty. And tbh, the extra pylon is still a better choice then the salt shaker of a fighter you start First Encounters with ;)

Wonder how possible it would be to find some zen soundbites for voiceattack responses.

I'm looking forward to seeing back the Viper MKI, such a classic, more nimble than the Cobra MKIII but still packs a major punch.

Personally, I think they should model ALL the existing ships and put them in the game, the universe is vast so quite a lot of various ships would be good.

If half of the lineup is modern versions of old classics and the other half completely new ones that would be great. :)

Having said that...the Asp Explorer is a must! :D

Thankfully it's in there already...would love to see a in-game screenshot of it though. All we have so far is some early concept.

Ah who am I kidding. I didn't like the quick sketches I did of a different trader. So have my Hypocrisy (and Lazy) Trader, now in Super Vivid Magenta.

I'd like to see some of the old ships back even if they are only old derelicts limping about occasionally.

I would love to see a old Panther Clipper lurching about in the far reaches of space. :cool:

Of the classic ships, the one I've enjoyed flying the most (apart from the Cobra Mk III, of course) is the Adder.
