Horizons Best experience yet!

I've been away from ED for a few months and decided to get back into it recently. A couple nights ago I stopped by an Engineer planet base in my Oculus Rift. Another Commander happened to stop by the base as I flew around looking at the sights. Not long afterwards another commander flew to the base. There was no messages or voice (sadly) between us but the whole setting was amazing.

The planet surface, the base, the other commanders, ED felt "alive". I've seen other commanders many many times but, something about the setting, sitting at a base with a planet on the horizon watching other people go about their business was magical. If only there was some communication between the three of us it would have been amazing.

I've had some amazing VR experiences in ED but, that was just the best one yet and there wasn't even any action.

As anti social as I am (well I do play in Mobius!) I still really enjoy seeing activity from other ships doing their things, especially if it's another player ship. Sounds like a nice moment you had.

Try The Jet's Hole engineering base in Kuwemaki system. It's the most impressive, awe inspiring landing I have yet experienced in the game. Increase your rank with Liz Ryder so that she can disclose their location - its worth it just for the landing even if you don't go for their upgrades.
