Best FDL PvP Loadout

I will have my FSD, fuel scoop, interdictor, and kill scanner off during combat. I will have one SCB and chaff launcher off until the other one is empty, and then I will deactivate the empty one, and activate the full one. I want to know what you think of this, and what you think the best PvP loadout would be. Thanks.

I would recommend putting a big fixed laser on that huge hardpoint.


2 medium beams isnt gonna cut it for PvP.


And ditch the gimbals on the inner hardpoints. You have excellent fixed convergence on the FdL on those hardpoints.

HeavyGroovez has covered it pretty much, use a C3 on the huge hardpoint, use gimbals on the further hardpoints out not the internal ones. Use D life support and Sensors, ditch the military armour and the ECM. Rest looks good!

From experience;

1. you wont need the ECM at all, take more chaff and turn it off as spare or take a HS
2. Mill grade is questionable, increases your re-buy and humans will target your PP every single time making it moot.
3. Gimbals, really? You will come up against chaff regularly!
4. That 2A Fuel scoop is fine if you are always near where you are PvP'ing, travel a distance though then expect to burn up badly because of the FDL heat dissipation issues (I had to put a 4A on mine to bare it!)
5. Massive cannon is a personal thing, I found because of its placement it actually cost me DPS as I had to come off the target too much to make it fire
6. D rated life support to free up needed power
7. D rated scanner to free up power
8. Personnel preference but I don't bother with a KWS for two reasons A. Whilst you are scanning them they are shredding your shields and B. Only a rare few of them carry a bounty, this will change with 1.3 but I still wont carry one because of A

Remember load outs are personal (heres my FDL) but its probably worth mentioning that a lone FDL is'nt great 1v1 imho, I prefer my Python if I am alone.
