After today's update I happily launched out with a cargo of Slaves (always good for a quick buck or rep gain) to be scanned and fined 213,231 cr.
Right then. Jotting down the fine I made it my mission to make enough profit to cover the cost back.
So missions. Trades. Submitting to interdictions (of which they all seemed to be against bigger harder ships which was very cool, I've noticed they're getting harder the more my status goes up). Discovery scans. Trading and a few USS's.
Suffice to say I managed to crawl back the money and then some.
I've been playing since Alpha Backer (March 2014) and I've never had as much fun as tonight (I've enjoyed every minute up to now don't get me wrong, I'm a software developer and love to see the progression of the game as I do a similar thing).
Just think what the game will entail in 6 months time
All this and I've not even hooked up my Oculus yet (and I've had it for months).
If your smuggling Slaves. Expect a fine (somewhere). Boy has it honed my speed docking (but not at the cost of smashing into someone I might add!).
