Best In Slot Atrociraptor

We’ll have to see next week.
Similar to Nasuceratops, this may be a single species DLC, but I’m still hoping for the other Malta dinosaurs. Microceratus obviously, a ceratopsian as small as Homalocephale if not smaller but definitely bigger than Compsognathus. I know Oviraptor and Lystrosaurus were accurately sized for Dominion, but they should be bigger for the game. I just learned the Oviraptor made famous in the 90’s is actually a different species called Citipati. Here’s the size and I want a similar beef up for Lystrosaurus.

Citipati

Let’s hope for the best.

I already suspect that there are at least five species that have yet to appear in Jurassic world Evolution 2 however there could be other dinosaurs that have yet to appear in Jurassic world Evolution 2 so I wouldn't be surprised if this was a dinosaur pack alone or possibly a full expansion DLC. Who knows. But here are the species that could be coming very very soon due to their connection to the canon. Which gives them a 100% chance of being added.

Confirmed:
Atrociraptor

MISSING SPECIES YET TO BE ADDED TO THE GAME:
1. Teratophoneus
2. Oviraptor
3. Moros
4. Peloroplites
5. Microceratus
6. Lystrosaurus
7. Concavenator
8. Nothosaurus
9. Smilodon
10. Mononykus
11. Spinoceratops
12. Mussaurus
13. Hadrosaurus
14. Nipponosaurus
15. Kosmoceratops
16. Agujaceratops
17. Protoceratops
18. Tarbosaurus

We're still missing Hypsilophodon from the original novel version of The Lost World: Jurassic Park.

There's no telling what else Frontier has in store for us in possibly the next month or onwards.

As I recall, Hypsilophodon was not in the original novel... rather, what was often referred to as "Hypsilophodont" was actually Dryosaurus. Actually, most animals in the novel where often referred to with generic terms... the Cearadactylus were typically called "pterosaurs" in the novel. Also begs the question of what "hadrosaurs" was supposed to mean... as I recall, those animals (along with "styracosaurs" and "euoplocephalids") were among the few animals that don't appear in any scenes.

It's true that Hypsilophodon did not appear in the original novel version of Jurassic Park, but the species appeared in its sequel.

"There was a herd of hypsilophodons a short distance away; the green gazelle-like animals raised their heads occasionally above the grass to look toward them, every time they heard the clink of metal, as Eddie and the kids laid out the aluminum strut assembly which had been the subject of so much speculation back in California" (Crichton, 286)

Generic term literally means the genus. So, Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Hypsilophodon, Cearadactylus are generic terms by definition. "Familial" terms would be more appropriate.

Anyway, I doubt we'll see many of the remaining novel dinosaurs in the game. The ones in the films directly? Probably. But ones that are only shown as skeletons for example I think already have a much lower chance of getting added.
