No doubt about it:

It has all the commodities needed for the ascension missions, and they are legal there. You just sit in the McDermott Emterprise, doing mission for an Empire faction, and as soon as you get the ascension mission you just get the stuff from the market and "deliver" it to the Bulletin Board. One night i have progressed 3 ranks.
Also, the shipyard sell 13 ships (as many as the Founders World) and the outfitters have almost everything.

thank you so much.. the only thing this area is missing is an anarchy system nearby that sells slaves... cant be too picky when u only have a choice of 400 billion stars
