Best Mining Ship?

I have a Corvette and a T10, could buy a Cutter(well I have, sold it, did not like it:()
Currently my mining ship is a Anaconda:)
Anything better?

If you like mining, and are far enough into the game to have owned all of the big three, I doubt there's much we could teach you about mining in the big three that you don't already know! - Fit refinery, limpets, lasers and maybe a fighter, go mining!

I've actually gone mining in my anaconda. Lots of cargo holds for a decent refinery, room for both prospector and collector limpit controllers, lots of cargo space to keep the stuff.

The thing I really enjoy is that the thing is armed to the teeth, so when the random NPC pirate shows up, 5,000 guns make quick work of them. Haven't tried it against a human pirate yet but so far it's been my ship of choice.

Now, once I get the Type 10 upgraded I might try that one for a bit.

corvette is not a mining ship.. yuck.

Cutter or Conda if you want a big ship and a Python of you want to be able to land at any station.

I would say yeah, Corvette. I went mining a lot in my Anaconda and the only limiting factor is the cargo space, which you have much more of in the Corvette.

Take your combat build and strip out all the internals for your mining rig, then you have a build that can deal with NPC ships attacking you.

Subjective once you get past a size class.

Corvette (with its raider ship kit, the only ship kit worth getting) as it has teeth!
Beluga for its canopy, no really.

<I was about the describe one of the most productive and enjoyable experiences in the game right now using those ships and mining, but its certainly something frontier would nerf, so all i can do is suggest to be creative in the outfitting of those ships, don't just min max mining, and go in and play a little when you're there. Collection limpets pick up more than mining fragments, thats it. Also sht up once you see how fun this is.>

Oddly enough I like to use an AspX, with the Raider ship kit. When outfitted to do the job the time it takes to fill the hold, largely matches my time limit for the activity. I cannot commit to the endless hours it takes to fill up a Python, let alone any of the large pad ships.

If you have that kind of stamina, you've gotten some decent advice already.

I suspect you aren't outfitting your Python very well. Here try this build.

Or try a Dropship. It'll mine as quickly as a Python, but doesn't have the cargo space. Could be perfect for you.

You already have the best ship, the Conda is the best ship for mining by far

For profits/missions the Python can be a little better

You can mine in the Cutter, I have, but for mining you want maneuverability/handling more than top speed. The Cutter's size 8 racks do give it a lot​ of cargo space, though.

I would try the python, mine can carry 160 tons of cargo and i can usually fill the hold within 2 hours, I make around 8 - 10 million a trip ( pristine metal rings )

I've also outfitted a T-10 as my miner, for roleplaying purposes and because I couldn't find any better role for it. If you're just min-maxing I guess Anaconda and maybe Cutter will fare a bit better though.
