Best (non ED) and the worst game of the past 2014

So, what are yours picks?

For me the best game would be Alien: Isolation - it recreates the atmosphere and look of the original movie excellently. I was legitimately scared while playing.

Worst - Dragon Age: Inquisition - such a disappointment and mess that I don't even know where to start.

Best: Banished, picked it up cheap in the steam sale. Refreshing change of pace, no enemies just survival. Very enjoyable

Worst: Godus, complete bag of spanners, just a mess and so far away from what was promised during the KS. A horrible tablet game ported to the PC was what we ended up with. Seriously disappointing.

My best are:
Binding of Isaac: Rebirth (almost 100hrs played, which is a lot for me) and Chaos Reborn.

Got to agree with Mr Coutts about the worst. Godus is a game about watching timers tick down. Steam says I've played 57 hours, but in reality I left it running in the background a few times and have probably only played 5hrs at most.

Discovered Rimworld in 2014. I think it might be my best game discovery of the year.
Worst is probably Mining and Tunneling Simulator. Someone recommended it to me, I think as a joke. Luckily they also gave me a key so I didn't buy it or I would have been very disappointed.
