I prefer Elite Dangerous, BUT I also play No Man's Sky and if there's any game company who deserves this award it's Hello Games!

Yes they did. NMS saw nothing but improvements and frequent updates over the years. They're adding new content with every update... NMS is passion for those guys, ED is just a cash cow for FDev. Such a shame because with the money FDev have at their disposal they could kick the poop out of everything really but for now we have nerfs and broken features...

I disagree. It is nice, relaxing game. Something that ED should have been... In the meantime ED is a second job, enjoyable at times but it is second job. NMS on the other hand is calm, nice, rewarding experience, something ED is lacking...

Now I love No Man’s Sky ever since I first got it (and I preordered the super-spesh-edition in all its incomplete glory) but I’ve not even thought about playing it since I got into Elite.
Not disagreeing with the award, but in my eyes the only thing they have in common is spaceships. And hyperjumps?
