Hello,
I have been messing with Trinus Gyre all day and have finally found a way to get the FPS to sit at 30 with quality on Normal/High
Follow the instructions from this thread to get the software set up: Kudos to Retrograde for the Instructions +rep him please

Follow his setup until you get to the In game Elite settings.
Change elite to Windowed mode in game settings and do not enable Side By Side graphics (3d support)
Exit the game.
Go back to Trinus Gyre and Enable Fake 3D mode, Enable fast resampling and set quality to normal to start with.
Enable Buffering on the Android version of the app. Leave enhanced quality and frame skip unticked, keep lens correction unticked.
Run Trinus and connect using your phone in whatever manner, Wifi or Tethered...
Run elite dangerous, in Trinus select ED client from the menu as in Retrogrades instructions.
In ED change the game resolution to a 4:3 resolution - im running 1280x960

I currently get 31fps average with a bit of screen tearing but it is very responsive and works well enough to actually play the game - Im running it over wifi with my Virgin Media Superhub, LG G3 phone and AMD Radeon HD7970 Graphics (Intel Core i5 CPU)
You dont get the depth of field as with EDs own SBS view but the image quality is decent and the latency isnt too bad, definately worth the try if you want to see a little bit of what its like wearing a VR headset!
I also had to invert Pitch and Yaw in OpenTrack to get it to work correctly.
If i can get rid of the screen tearing im deffinately going to buy the full version of Trinus.
