Best places to find a5 class FSD?

Got an ASP but could only buy a B class FSD, I assume A class are only on sale in high population high tech locations?

Any tips on Galaxy map filter to help me narrow down the search to the right systems?

You answered your own question. Search for high-tech stations with high population.

Mine was in Pu City, i think the system was AF...somethin, I'm not sure, but you can still look for it direcly in the galaxy map by typing the station name in the search bar. It's an Empire system, High Tech, not too far from Yawa iirc

Edit : yes system Afli. (the closest station)

That one. Drop the max population bar a little and those azure dots become gigantic. Could need to visit a couple of those but you'll eventually find one. You already know it's 5.6 million right? Leesti sells them anyway if you this could help.

Not all high tech systems have all the mods. I've been to a few which have an extremely poor selection.

IN 78 Ursae Majoris Berners-Lee City C5 FSD for just over 500K.

No A5 FSD yet for me...

Got it! Cheers! Now heading southward to the bottom of galaxy before into the Core and Sagittarius A*

Can confirm as of today (5th july 2015) that most of the above places do not sell A5, only B5.

I got mine today at Jameson Memorial (Founder's World, Shinrarta Dezhra).
