I do not understand half of what he says : English is not my mother tongue. I can watch movies and series without any problem, but this guy simply speaks too quickly for me. I'm not sure why ... Probably he is delusional enough to think this is "cool", "modern", "trendy"... ?
Good for him : he can make a living with the native speakers audience I guess. Or die with all the "I'm in my Island and I don't care about the rest of the world" crowd. Whatever : still a thumb down, as far as I'm concerned.
OK, I first thought you were weird for writing that.Ah yes, Zero Punctuation. This review was part of what made me get this game![]()
He's a really popular video reviewer with fast talking caustic humorous reviews being his thing so he's not really delusional at all
No it's more likely that he, like 70% of gamers, has ADHD. It kinda makes you talk and type really really fast.I do not understand half of what he says : English is not my mother tongue. The problem with people speaking Japanese is that the pedagogical construct "Japanese" you learn has very little to do with how Japanese people use the language in the real world; the ideology behind the language that is presented is tied up in ideas of nationalism and "Japaneseness". (And they don't speak like they do in Cowboy Bebop either. Probably the best anime for learning Japanese would be Doraemon, imo.)No it's more likely that he, like 70% of gamers, has ADHD. It kinda makes you talk and type really really fast.
And I understand English is not your primary language, I'm learning Japanese and have the same trouble with people speaking Japanese.
When you get used to how people talk day to day, IE fast and concise, then it'll be easier to understand things like this.
And regardless, you sound like a colossal ass. So to put it bluntly; if you're going to look down on people because you can't understand them, then you're *IN* the "I'm in my island and I don't care about the rest of the world" crowd.
And don't get offended at me telling the blunt unaltered truth.
It's not my problem.

Well, with a title of "Zero Punctuation" he delivers what's on the tin.The channel is named zero punctuation for a reason. The talking speed is basically his trademark (that and the strong language).![]()

I wonder what purpose such fast speech serves?
