By default, Elite: Dangerous wasn't using my computers native resolution or refresh rate, so I changed that in settings. The game looks ten times better and even runs better. I am currently on low settings. The specifications or model of computer I have is a GF63 thin 11UC, it's an MSI computer. The main places i get frame drops are sometimes in stations, but around very large ships like in multi crew with a cutter for example. And the worst it gets is on foot when dropping into a surface conflict zone, especially when detaching from the vulture. Other sites like surface settlements or POI's I don't have as large of an issue. It's just surface conflict zones mainly that I see frames get too low.
My question is, is there a way to improve FPS here in settings and is there a way to get the input to ship maneuvering like raw, pitch, roll to respond normally? Something I should add, maybe not on the resolution I have set in game now, it happens much less frequently at least, the input delay will be up to 5 seconds. So, when I move the ship, it will respond later and be un-maneuverable.
Thanks for the help.
