My favorite thing about the Asp is the view. Being able to see space all around almost feels like I'm finally flying in a General Products hull from the Ringworld books.

And the engine sound too of course.

I agree. The T7 is absolutely the best way to move 200+ tons of stuff between two proper stations and for it's price bracket it's cheap to operate, repair and fuel (no scoop required == more cargo!).

Choose your route carefully and I believe you can make 3M+ per hour from a T7, my record is 2.7M in an hour (round trip takes 12 minutes on my current trade cycle).

Got my Asp yesterday, have been loving it. The view is awesome, looking down whilst scooping, landing, fighting, or just checking out the view... I don't know how I'll transition back to any other cockpit.

It's a bit of a pig to turn - but at least it has a couple of extra weapons slots to make up for it.

It also seems to have quite a large range - 15Ly jumps barely register on the fuel tank, and it even does a good job of hauling.

I really am enjoying flying it...


Just need t get class A power, shields and thrusters, and she'll be perfect...

does anyone else think this statements a bit redundant? I mean what else have you got between asp and python.. type 7/clipper/dropship/orca lol, clippers usable the rest are useless! It would be more honest to say asp > clipper lol.

I actually quite liked T7, but flying the stock T7 after Asp can be bit of a shock. You'll need upgrade the thrusters to A level and spec up the ship properly and after that its one of the best (and cheapest) space trucks to fly.
