Does mirror armor really shield sun damage? That would be cool !!!
If even very expensive. Better put that pile of money into a good fuel scoop and save the weight for the armor.
Have a C6 scoop and getting 650 fuel / sec. Filling ASP 32 fuel-tank in 60 sec.

Stick with that sidewinder, that way when you go out exploring and make it back alive you've actually done something, unlike all of these yahoos in their multimillion credit space yachts with the Frappe machines in the back.

I'm using my sidey. A2 FSD, A2 fuel scoop, no weapons or shields, surface scanner and advanced discovery scanner. I can jump 20LY max, though it's a bit pointless as the most i've jumped so far is 7LY. 179 systems explored so far and more being added every hour.
It's a decent little ship, rebuy cost is only 86k so I won't cry too hard if I'm killed :)
