G5 DD is mandatory. Doesn't matter if you fly a Mamba, FDL, FAS or Krait.

Well it's not really mandatory if you are an awesome pilot, but as long as you are struggling, a different ship won't help you much unless you engineer it. If you really don't want to do it you should try the Vulture.

True but for fighting npcs you don't need much engineering if at all so that compensates the rank grind.

Corvette is an npc clubber, simple.
I love it btw.

For PvE Corvette or Anaconda. You don't need to be rear admiral in the dirty federation army to get a Anaconda, and it's arguably as good as the Corvette. Some would even say it's better.

For combat I think the Vette is slightly better. The Conda is just great all-around and doesn't require subjugation to Zachary Hudson or Felicia Winters shudders

the materials pharmaceutical isolation is a very rare material..... sounds hard to find it..

Funny you should write that, I killed a pirate Corvette for an assassination mission and it dropped a Pharm Iso. Hadn't seen that in a long time. I don't need 'em but good for trading.

They are also offered as a mission reward, just get yourself allied with the factions in your home base and you should see some of them there.

Best NPC killer is the Corvette, I stack pirate kill missions and they attack in pairs, they're money makers as they have high bounties plus the payout. Also the wing pirate kill missions are good to take with one Corvette as long as it's outfitted right.
