Ship Builds & Load Outs Best ship for stealth railgun build?

I'm talking cold/silent running sniping-oriented ship with a lot of ways to keep the ship from being seen

Anyone ran any stealth builds willing to share some tips, even if they don't use rails?

I've found that no matter what you use, once you fire on an NPC they get attracted to you like the drunk ugly woman at an office party. Until we're given the ability to "Snipe" from a decent distance away, we're stuck with an alpha strike and then trying to realign shots after that.

Try a shieldless DBS build with low energy high efficiency equipment, it should be running at 20% or lower but the rail gun charge cycle will increase the thermal signature significantly, perhaps firing in silent running with some heat sinks at hand might be worth a try.

If it was anything but rails, I suggest a DBE. A large nose hardpoint at a cheap price.

As I understand the orca hardpoint placement is great for fixed weapons and it performs admirably shieldless as it can pack a cubic buttonne of hull reinforcements. Combine that with great (seriously, great) speed, a small frontal profile, and a good number of utility spots, you have yourself a great stealth sniper.

I've heard of Stealth Orcas and Ramming Orcas, had one sitting in Alioth for a while, I guess this is the best thing I can do with it right now
