Best ship/loadouot to go find a Thargoid?

As the title says? I don't care to us my vette to go meet them. What is the recommend ship as it seems I can expect to be destroyed.....

We simply don't know yet - right now we're just waiting for the first batch of anti-Thargoid weapons to tick in.

Any ship will do. Really. They are all over the place in the Pleiades. My tip would be to bring a fast vessel with good jump range... a Cobra Mk. III for example.

The big question is what sizes the weapon comes in and how much ammo they have.

If they come in small and above, then an Asp Explorer will be a fine mid-range missile boat due to having 6 hardpoints.

72 missiles at a cost of 16920 for a full load per launcher. No Class 1 launcher as far as I can see, so the AspX only can do two at the moment.

Cutter missile boat incoming this evening... Now, I need to find a crew.... I would like 2 FDL's, 1 Corvette and 1 Cutter....

Make them all missile boats, with a regenerative beam on the noses of the FDL and Cutter and on the huge hard points on the Corvette.

All with multiple PD's too... so, 2 on each FDL and 4 on the Cutter and Corvette....

Then have repair modules in the Cutter, and maybe the corvette.....

So a total of 4 players and 2 SLF........

Any takers?
