1080Ti is ludicrously good and will pump out mental frame rates on anything upwards of a G3258 or i3.
edit I assume you've got an SSD btw. The difference having your OS on a SSD makes is beyond count.
This actually drives me slightly mad these days... We have an office of about 20-30 staff, and slowly converting them to laptops. An i3 is plenty, but finding an i3 *with* an SSD, instead of a 500GB or 1TB spinning drive is a headache beyond what should be reasonable. Then, on top of that, they won't honour the warranty if I swap out the HDD with an SSD... *bangs head*
It's almost like "Hey look, see how fast the i7 is compared to the i3? Oh no, it has nothing to do with the SSD at all..."
