Best vista?

Looking ahead to the retail release of the Oculus Rift, which ship do you think has the best view from the cockpit seat?

My favourite is the T6. Haven't flown it in a while, but I loved that little hauler.

As I don't have a Rift myself I can't post any footage, but I hope those of you who have, will.

The Clipper has a great view through the screen, its extremely spacious with excellent viewing angles, but for a cockpit that really works well with The Rift would be the Eagle....

The cockpit is a close fit, but it just works so well with the in-game menus bringing them closer to your view and it feels a little like a X-wing

Totally agree, the Eagle. I hadn't tried it until PP beta, as I've been out exploring since I got my rift and won't be home anytime soon. But my jaw dropped when beta hit and I jumped in the eagle for the first time, it's great.

For the best 3D effect, the Eagle (and Sidewinder) are the best as noted above.

But, best "vista" view? Asp. It's the explorer, after all. Lots of windows in all directions.

Eagle for pure immersion, it's so small, I feel in control of the ship a lot more than other ships. For size T7 left a lasting impression on me but Anaconda is fantastic as well, the bridge is so amazing to look at. I can see how long and big it is, unlike on a monitor where it's a guess. All ships look awesome to be honest.
