Best way to earn merits for Aisling?

Greetings commanders.

After giving it some thought I signed up with Aisling. She's an abhorrent blight on the Empire that threatens everything it stands for, but she also offers schmexy new shield generators that I want.

So I signed up with her and delivered my first 10 media materials to a system. Apparently I only get ten of these every 30 mins. I thought that was fine, as they'd stack, but I signed in today and no, 10 is my cap.

All of Aislings activities involve ferrying things 10 at a time for 10 merits, as far as I can tell.

Is there any way to get more merits? For example, is there somewhere I can go and kill ships for her?

Sorry, I'm far from au fait with powerplay...

Edit: I did see that I can buy my next 10 power commodities for 100,000cr, but that's never going to happen. That's my money, honey.

Terribly sorry to double post, but I'm still wondering.

I went to a federation system and started murdering Federation vessels... I heard that this might net me 15 merits a kill, but it doesn't seem to be doing so... is this because Aisling is a non combat princess?

Thanks

She is the Empires only chance.
Anyway you have to kill specific ships. Fed-Aid and Fed-Agents that belongs to Felica Winters at specific systems. The Expansion ones.

A pitty that so many only pledge her to get that shilds. The Empire will fall.

You can do all three different ferry missions in a cycle, I think. Prep / Control / Expand. I think there's more info on each tab and also on the bulletin board when you're docked at a control system.

Allegedly, I heard you can go to our neighboring power's systems and rip enemy power ships out of SC and kill them for 15 merits. This will get you a bounty and possibly hurt your major faction (empire) rep. I think there's an indicator or something that tells you they are on the other power's side somewhere. I haven't tried it yet so not sure about all the details.

Still figuring this out myself, any tips would be appreciated.

As far as I can tell, while you can do all three types of shipment in a run, since you only get 10 commodities it's far easier to just take 10 of the same and do it that way rather than 3,3,4.

Thanks for the tip, Target lost. I'll give that a go.

btw, it's not every 30 minutes, it's on the hour and half hour, so if you time it right, you can get and haul 20 at a time within about 2 minutes. and as for other things, look at the 'undermine' for different powers, it's generally all combat of interdicting their specially named vessels out of SC and then killing them. it doesn't give you merits immediately, it gives you vouchers that you turn in for merits (look in transaction tab)

See this is what's wrong with the modules as rewards, people joining factions they despise just to get a unique shiny....

I made over 1,000 merits last night farming Federal Couriers and Agents in one of their controlled system. I work for Patreus. I haven't turned them in yet though.

15 Merits per kill. That means 100 kills=1500 merits. Not bad. Though you do acquire a large bounty, but this is actually fine. It seems to work out to your advantage as agents will interdict you, and you can just take them out for more merits. Just let them do it. ;)

I also noticed that other factions ships in this particular Federal system came in, and I could also kill them for merits. I think you can also do counter-expansion tasks, though I haven't tried that yet. Will do so later. I must sleep. Played all night. :p

Can the vouchers earned today be turn at week 3 ?
Or do I have to turn them the week I get them ?

IMO the easiest way is... just to earn some money and than buy required amount of "materials". It is 15m to get 1500 merits. Few hours in T9.
Just do not deliver those items to random location, stop for a second and think where they will be more usefull. To get your shinies you need power to survive at least those 4 weeks.

Edit: correction. This is wrong. It clicks over after 30 minutes from when you use up your allocation. Thought it did not sound right.

I'm absolutely positive I bought some, fiddled around with commodities market, and bought 10 more mere minutes after, and it so happened to be exactly refreshed at the 30 minute mark.
