Best weapon for first engineering - noise suppression

Got a bit of a question, I’ve just unlocked Terra Velasquez who is the first engineer to offer noise suppression for pressurised environments. My question is, as I’m short on some materials, what weapon is best to go with first for noise suppression for kills without alerting the whole base so I can start assassinations? I have every weapon at basic level and level 4 Aphelion and level 3 P15 but would like a silenced 1 shot killer - unshieldee targets.

What’s best to go with first?

Hmm, I think the popular choice would be tormentor. It's for indoors so it's not like shot travel time is going to be a factor.

A G5 tormentor is a 1-shot kill to anyone unshielded up close (high level guards need a head shot). For shielded guards, it’s a 2-shot, except for high level guards which can be a 3-shot, but this is rare.

Cheers. Was thinking the Tormentor, it seems a popular choice with a lot of players. I’ve only got a level 1 one at the moment but I can level it up to at least 3 straight away. Just need to get more manufacturing instructions and they’re pretty common as mission rewards

Not even you, indoors if the warhead exploding doesn’t get you the backblast will.

The Intimidator will one shot shielded enemies, it's the only thing that will. It's the only gun you need tbh.

My personal style prefers the sniper version, (name escapes me). I like the guards to all be lying on the ground dead when I get there. But the shotgun is the king of up-close and personal killing, shield or no.

With the greater range mod you don't even need to be that close tbh, and a scope tightens up the spread even further.

I like the sniper too, but it takes 2 shots if they're shielded, like professional assassination targets or CZ opponents. Fun for stealthily clearing out a settlement for sure!
