I liked it more than his review. For someone that played 30+ hours on the game it was pretty negative
Yeah I found it kind of odd that he played the game that long but had all these negative things to say about it.
I kind of wonder if he did it because he knew that it would get more views
As much as I enjoy BIS and as much as I know it's both free publicity and views I kind of wish that he'd waited for the day 1 patch before releasing anything, especially the review
Considering that 99.9% of joe public will not be playing the version he's reviewed the negative points don't really serve the game well. No-one knows how many of his complaints will still be present after the patch
I'm not against him raising negatives, they're all valid (particularly the whole comfort radius on dinosaurs which REALLY needs to be changed ASAP) I just feel that he should at least do an updated review of the game after a day playing the patch. His intentions were in the right place though, he's just pointing out obvious criticisms with the hope that they'll be noted and put on the to do list. He did still say he's thoroughly enjoyed the game

I agree. I think that the final day 1 is going to be a bit different. I have not heard any complaints from the people that are currently playing it is Australia.
Honestly it's only BIS, IGN and RPS saying a lot of negative stuff about the game and BIS's review wasn't nearly as bad as the garbage from IGN. The only thing Frontier could have done was make sure everyone gets the patch. BIS has had the game for 2 weeks. Of course that means all the reviewers would have gotten the game on release or push the release day forward. Of course BIS could be just nit picking.

I doubt it. I don't think he would do that. That's something IGN would do. lol
this is my overall feeling. He so wants this game to be the best game it can be so I expected him to be overly critical. I think he's also gone overly critical to make sure that he doesn't come across as biased as I don't think it would surprise anyone if he gushed over the game for the next year
He's just a man that loves the game and wants it to succeed. As I said, his heart's in the right place
I broke down and am watching one of his gameplay videos. You can see he is obviously enjoying it.
I watched the firstv3. That is why it surprised me about his review.
He probably played 30+ hours to get a good feel for the game in order to give a solid review...right?
You don't need to play a game for 30+ hours to know it's bad.
That's because its not unlocked in Australia
I thought it was Australia, but people have been playing it already for a while ( not youtubers)
It would be dumb to put that much time into a game you don't like.
yeah, really. I put two hours into PUBG before I finally got fed up and that wasn't all at once.
Consoles, as I understand, but without the patch so far, unless I'm missing something.
Right, and he's definitely been hyped for it. I think he's honestly a little disappointed with some aspects of the game, but overall still impressed by it.
I have downloaded 2 patches for ps4 so far, one when i pre ordered and one a few hours before the game unlocked last night.
