Patch Notes Update Beta 2.04 incoming

Does anyone know....

In 2.04 if i scan every planet in a system and sell the data, does that update the online servers to show that system has now been scanned and other players cannot scan the system again and get credits for the data anymore?


Will it show : "Planet x discovered/scanned by CMDR xxxxx" ( I think that would be cool)

You are still not using the latest installer for 2.03, that's why. You have to re-download the installer from the account menu.

Well, first explorer hitting system will be rewarded and recognized. These however all known systems. They are testing things from basic mechanics perspective.

Currently you still get an exploration bonus, but it is much lower than initial discovery - and if 2 folks make an initial discovery, the one that sell the data first will get the bigger bonus.

Also, as a player unless you buy the data or explore the area yourself, your map will no update for locations that it had no data on.
