Hi,

Sorry for making a thread but I couldn't find the answer by searching. Either its not here or I'm lousy at searching!

Regarding beta access, I've paid to get access to the first beta.

But Elite is going to have expansions isn't it? ie landing on planets etc etc, what I'm wondering is.. do we beta testers get to test the expansions too? (when they are working on them I mean, not right now)

or is the beta thing purely a one off for Elite?

Beta should consist of a nearly complete iteration of what will comprise the initial full release of E:D... but what that is... is yet to be determined.

To answer your specific question. Probably not. Landing on planets is slated for a future expansion.

We don't know. However I *guess* those involved in alpha/beta will be primary candidates (maybe filtering them out after their feedback) in doing so, after all, they have been proven good providers of feedback.

It is still quite far away. We will see :)

I think FD don't know too ... they will probably decide later, they are focus to the next build of alpha :D

Perhaps the current testers, alpha and betas, will also test the planetary landings? We'll see. Can be for a small additional amount of money preferential?

I imagine people from alpha and DDF will be invited to beta/alpha test the expansion packs, since they are proving to be very helpful. Maybe fellas from premium/standard betas too, I guess it will depend on the numbers they need etc.

Pure speculation though.

If I remember right, all those who participate in alpha and beta will also be invited to test any expansion.
