Better Defence Engineer Blueprints

Just a couple of ideas I had around defences and Engineers.
The current ones are a bit... err.. 'meh'.

So here goes.

Point Defence

High Yield - Grades 1-3
A high yield point defence turret does significantly more damage per shot, at the cost of much less ammo in the magazine, and rate of fire.
Excellent Vs Torpedoes, Meh Vs Regular Single Missiles, Terrible Vs Packhounds/volleys

Rapid Fire - Grades 1-3
The rapid fire modification increases the magazine capacity and rate of fire of point defence turrets, but greatly reduces damage per shot.
Excellent Vs Packhounds/volleys, Meh Vs Regular Single Missiles, Terrible Vs Torpedoes

Long Range - Grades 1-3
The long range modification activates the point defence earlier, allowing for greater range of coverage. Power use and mass are increased.

Chaff

Large Spread - Grades 1-5
The large spread modification increases the effect on gimballed and turret locks more, at the cost of shorter chaff duration.
Good for use on larger ships.

Duration - Grades 1-5
The duration modification increases the time the chaff remains active, at the cost of the less effect on Gimballed and turreted weapons.
Good for small ships.

Increased Capacity - Grades 1-5
The increased capacity increases ammo counts at the cost of effect and duration. Mass is also increased.

Heatsinks

High Capacity - Grades 1-5
The high capacity modifcation, increases the ammo counts, as the cost of effectiveness. At grade 5, you're looking at 10+ ammo, but it'll only remove about 30% heat. Good for explorers accidentally cooking themselves, but useless for silent running.

Heatsink Efficiency - Grade 1-5
The efficiency modification increases the amount of heat a heatsink will take from your ship, and how long it will keep it down, but increases the mass, and power usage significantly, and increases reload times.

I don't really use ECM, so feel free to suggest something there. I don't even know how hey work yet. :p

Thoughts?
