Better food effect?

Hi,

does anyone about the effects of the higher food grades? I couldn't find anything about it in the in-game help. Does it simply make the animals happier or are there other benefits? E.g. it's more expensive per refill, but lasts longer, therefore the food costs should go down?

It raises the animal's welfare.You can see it in the animal info panel under the tab nutrion -> last meal quality.

Okay, so it's as I wrote above, no other effects... would be nice if there's an additional bonus on how long it lasts until the animal will get hungry angain...
