Better grade - fixed pulse lasers

Do they exist? I'm not interested in gimballed / turrented. I just want ones that are slightly better than default..

I sometimes wonder if the Bordlerlands procedual-generated weapons (or more so the weapons stats) would be a good fit for ED? Or would players complain that they spend too long comparing weapon stats at stations?

there are, but they're listed a rare and i've yet to see any, despite hunting.

You apparently need to find a High Tech/High Population economy and there is a chance of finding them. Although i doubt they'd be cheap.

Once I got my Cobra, I upgraded the default Pulse Lasers to class 2 rating E (fixed), which cost 35 200 credits (for both) at a High Tech system.

No. The grade of a weapon, unlike other modules, is determined by its type and size. On weapons the grade gives you a comparison across the WHOLE type not different versions of the same item.


So, for pulse lasers, you'll see that a size 1 fixed is one grade higher than a gimballed size 1, two grades lower than a fixed size 2, with the gimballed size 2 falling in between....
