I really am alot more relaxed about the rift and vive showing up at my door after the new software upgrades. To be honest, my dk2 feels like a new piece of kit. The performance increases are quite astonishing!

Personally i thought we'd only get the new 1.3 runtime..
ED update, Nvidia update and the Oculus store etc.. dynamite for the brain :)

Talk about VR coming back from the dead! (at easter) :)

I'm tempted to give it a go but I've got to wait for Project Cars to become seamlessly operational with 1.3 before I consider making the switch.

0.8 + Steam VR + 361.91 are running beautifully for me so it's no biggie but my curiosity is proving hard to temper !

Project cars isnt working? It is available in the oculus store so surely must be compatible no?

There was a comment from one of the Project Cars devs over on the forums. They got the Oculus store version ready in time but not the Steam version.

They will get it sorted but for the moment you need to be using the Oculus store version in order to run it against the 1.3 runtime.

yes have to agree installed uninstalled sdk 0.8 installed shop software with sdk 1.3 looking at all the free demos in store videos etc great, started up elite got stuck at menu screen no keyboard input, stopped and restarted straight in, settings in graphics vr high, have a gtx970 best it has ever run smooth and extra eye candy very happy with the dk2 can't wait for cv1
