"Horizons" is Elite Dangerous with planetary landings (and Engineers), it's just more of the same science-fiction goodness to enjoy. Nothing is different, there is just more of it. Get Horizons.

@Parane - yes isnt it? You use a bootcamped Mac if i recall right. Are you satisfied with the performance and quality?
I was playing Elite on a Mac as well, but as i had to get Windows for Horizons anyways and wanted VR, i now own a PC, purely set up for VR, beside my Mac.

Yeah, I managed to get that to work just a couple of days ago. Updated the drivers for the graphics card and now everything works fantastic. The views are absolutely stunning!

I played for a year and some before Horizons dropped. Then I waited a bit more until just before the 2.1 Engineers update.

I would say that the time spent behind the stick didn't have much, if any, effect upon my time on the ground. Plus, it's just more immersive that way.

That's just my own personal version, though.
