Better Trading for big ships and more

I have been thinking alot and talking to friends who used to be players about how to change the game to make it more fun to make money and get them back into the game. and here is a list of things that I and my friends think could make the game better and fix the issues that made them quit

1. Trading and combat in big ships is great until you get destroyed then the rebuy is to extreme if you meassure it in time you have to spend playing to make the credits back in a non exploit way. Think of the percentage difference if you get killed in a type 6 vs a cutter the cutter can "only" carry 7 times the cargo of the type 6 but costs 200 times what the type 6 does. at a fixed 5% rebuy this really makes a big difference.
SOLUTION: Take a look at real world aviation Antonov after the fall of the sovjet union needed a way to make money and they found a demand for hauling big heavy cargo with their antonov an-124 and later even found demand for bigger cargo so they refurbished the scrapped an-225 just for that. So what can we do in elite to reflect this? Simple give cargo missions that require like a class 7 or bigger cargo bay and fills it 100% and make them pay alot better like 5mil+ that way it wont break the game cos new player can not do the missions before they get a big enough ship. This could even be missions that scale with the players ships max class cargo bay.

2. Exploration could bennefit from missions where they are asked to scan star systems around let's say a star in the orion nebula and they then get a bonus per star scanned. And make surface exploration worth it like getting a bonus for scanning like a wreck or alien structure.

3. Make federation and imperial ranks mean something like open up for better paying military missions where you have to like find an killl a high ranking person of the other faction or destroy a surface installation. with the new crime system in beta it would fit great. Like in federation my Cutter could be wanted for crimes and my corvette wanted in Empire.

4. More things to do in the surface of planets like make a mining srv that could be used to mine like in asteroid fields and give a bounus to engineering materials like 50-100% more materials. And maybe make a Recon SRV that is really fast that can be used to map the surface and then you can sell the info like exploration data.

Well that was some of the thing i have been thinking of I hope it can give you some ideas for making this game even better so that i can get my Friends to play again. They mainly got tired of the grinding for everything and the monotony of many things llike ranks and credit grind.

One last note they hated the Quince credit exploit but the sothis runs they loved cos it gave maybe abit to much but it was new every time and sometimes they found a cool system to explore on the route. So maybe bring back long range transport and make it pay good. It would be more realistic in a sence since if you live in a remote location then you have to pay alot more to get goods delivered or transported out.
