I find the Map Viewer in the game a bit clunky, and inconsistent with how it behaves. It doesn't provide as much detail about my dinosaurs as I'd like, and it doesn't always work properly.
For example, I can see from my overall information that I have a welfare problem somewhere in my park, so I pull up the map to go through all my animals to find out where and what the problem is. The information I get about each dinosaur doesn't show me why they are unhappy, and sometimes the map drops the dino information all together, and I don't get the little stat window at all. Then I have to close the map and start the search again.
I'd love a better map/viewer/search feature, so I can quickly identify any problems but also have an easy way to get information about my dinosaurs. Sometimes I just want to quickly see how many Early Cretaceous dinosaurs I have for fun and curiosity.
